Pitcher Plants
A total of 15 pitcher plants trap bugs using a pitfall trap. Pitfall traps contain a liquid cocktail of digestive enzymes. Once a bug is trapped in the rolled leaf of a pitcher plant, these enzymes break the bug down so that the plant can use its nutrients.
