Screenprinting Squeegee in a Print Shop.

Screenprinting Squeegee in a Print Shop.

Screenprinting squeegees are used to pull ink across the surface of a screenprinting screen. In the process of screenprinting, the artist places a stencil on the screen, whether by drawing or burning a photographic image on the screen. Paper is placed under the screen, the screen is secured with clamps, ink is placed onto the screen, and the artist uses a squeegee to pull ink over the screen and through the openings onto the paper.
