Ann E. Barron Multicultural Miniatures Collection
The Ann E. Barron Multicultural Miniatures Collection provides photographs of figurines, puppets, marionettes and dolls from all over the world. The majority of these figures are handcrafted by local artisans, and they all represent their unique cultures. These photos may be used by educators to introduce students to global diversity, regional customs, traditional costumes, and multicultural education. Students may use the pictures in class projects and activities, such as presentations, research papers, or digital media productions. The main ClipPix ETC collection provides additional photographs for instructional applications. Visitors can view these additional photos by clicking on the keyword or gallery links that are found on each of the individual photo pages. Stories (written at school-age level), maps, and activities related to these photographs are available at From Many Lands: Multicultural Education Through Miniatures.
