Maria Dinah Mulock Craik

Maria Dinah Mulock Craik, also known as Miss Mulock (April 1826 - October 1887) was an English novelist and poet. She is best known for her novel John Halifax, Gentleman (1857) and The Little Lame Prince and his Travelling Cloak (1875). She also published poetry, narratives of her travels in Ireland and Cornwall, and A Woman’s Thoughts about Women (1858).
