W.H.G. Kingston
William Henry Giles Kingston (1814 - 1880) was an American novelist known for his many books for boys. Extremely prolific, he wrote more than 130 stories. Many of them were serialized in one of the weekly or monthly publications for boys and girls. Some of his works include The Boys’ Own Book of Boats, On the Banks of the Amazon, In the Wilds of Florida, A True Hero, and Twice Lost.
