This net employs a 'Leader', 'Heart', 'Fore Bay', and 'Pound'. Each of these apparatus are constructed with a fence 15 to 18 feet deep. The Heart resembles the figure of the same name, and is placed so that the Leader passes into the notch a few feet. The Fore Bay (often omitted) is a second heart-shaped enclosure built on from the point of the heart.
