Air France Concorde

Air France Concorde

Front view of the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center's Concorde. The world's first supersonic airliner, it could make the trip across the Atlantic in less than four hours, twice as fast as a regular airliner. However, its high operating costs eventually led to declining passenger numbers, and service was finally cancelled in 2003.
