Belize Young Female Doll with Straw Basket on Her Head (Close Up Dark Background)

Young Belize female handcrafted from stuffed cloth. She has button eyes and yarn hair with pompons on end of her braids. She has a straw basket on head with four worry dolls in the basket. Worry dolls (muñecas quitapenas) are very small, colorful dolls that are popular in South and Central America. According to legend, a child can share his or her worries with the dolls before bed, and the doll will take care of the worries. The figure is 9 inches (23 cm) tall.
