This image shows the front door to the Paul Revere House, at 19 North Square. The locking mechanism shows signs of corrosion. The large, black, metal plate in the center of the door is a peephole. The door is studded with nails or rivets, which likely keep the vertical planks secured to horizontal planks on the other side. This building is on the National Register of Historic Places, and is a National Historic Landmark.Galleries:Doors, Historical Museums, Paul Revere HouseKeywords:boston, door, paul revere, paul revere housePhoto Location: Boston, MassachusettsPhotographer: Dr. Roy WinkelmanDate of Photo: 05/30/2011Device Make: CanonDevice Model: Canon EOS 5D Mark IIExposure Time: 0.008F Number: 18Original Dimensions: 3486×5490Picture Orientation: PortraitGPS Coordinates: 42°21'49.04"N 71°03'13.29"WPicture Number: 18185
