Description: Early map of the siege of Fort Christina. The Swedes and the Dutch were in constant battle over this area so the Swedes built Fort Christina and captured the Dutch Fort Casimir. Though, in 1655, New Sweden fell to the Dutch and became part of New Netherland. Fort Christina was renamed Fort Altena.
