Cardinal Directions in the Classroom: Students will recognize cardinal directions within the classroom. Family Culture: Students will tell about their family heritage by writing a story and illustrating it with a picture of a family item. Pirate Map: Students will use simple maps to identify and locate places. State Research: Students will enhance and apply their knowledge of state information by using an active board and conducting research on the internet.
